Split PDF: questions worth answering

Can I split by file size?
Yes. Choose “by size” and enter a target in megabytes. Ream packs pages into files that stay under the limit, which is what email attachments usually need.
Does splitting re-compress my pages?
No. Pages are copied as original objects, so text stays selectable and images keep their original resolution.
What is the page range syntax?
Comma-separate ranges, and use a dash for spans: 1-3, 5, 8-10. Leave it empty to split every page into its own file.
