Summarize PDF: questions worth answering

Does Ream see my document?
No. There is no Ream server in this path. Text goes from your browser directly to the provider you choose, using your key. If you would rather nothing left the device, use PDF to Text and summarise elsewhere.
Which providers work?
Any endpoint that accepts the OpenAI chat-completions shape, including OpenAI, OpenRouter, Groq, Together, Mistral and a local model served by Ollama or LM Studio.
Is my API key stored?
Only in memory for the current tab, unless you tick “remember”, which writes it to this browser’s local storage. It is sent only to the endpoint you configured.
